Gentle Dentistry for Anxious Patients.
We understand that visiting the dentist isn’t easy for everyone.
We understand that visiting the dentist isn’t easy for everyone.
Dental anxiety is very common, and over the years we’ve cared for many patients who put off treatment because of fear, past experiences, or embarrassment.
We hope you never feel judged here. Instead, we try to treat you with patience, kindness, and respect from the moment you walk through our doors.
Where we can, we take the time to explain each step, answer your questions, and go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Whether your anxiety is mild or more significant, we’ll try to work with you so you feel safe and in control throughout your visit.

Small comforts, real difference.
We’ve tried to create an environment that makes your appointment feel as relaxed as possible. To help, we offer…
Friendly, compassionate clinicians and support staff
Blankets for added comfort
Stress balls to help relieve tension
Clear explanations before and during treatment
The ability to pause treatment whenever you need
Gentle, unhurried care, paced to your comfort level
Knowing you’re in control can make a real difference.

A little more support, where it helps.
For patients who’d benefit from a bit more support with anxiety, we’re happy to talk through some additional options.
Nitrous oxide (laughing gas)
A safe, well-established form of conscious sedation that helps many patients feel calmer and more relaxed during treatment, while staying awake and able to communicate. Its effects wear off quickly, so most patients can return to their normal activities soon after.
Anti-anxiety medication
For suitable patients, your dentist may prescribe anti-anxiety medication to take before your appointment. This can help some patients with moderate dental anxiety feel more at ease during treatment. We carry out a thorough medical assessment first to check whether this approach is appropriate for you, and we’ll talk through the benefits, limitations, and any precautions beforehand.
You’re in control.
One of the more effective ways to ease dental anxiety is knowing you’re never made to continue treatment against your wishes. We encourage patients to:
Our aim isn’t simply to get through treatment — it’s to help you build enough confidence that future visits feel a little easier.

We’ll meet you where you are.
We understand trust takes time to earn. Whether it’s been six months or twenty years since your last visit, we’ll try to meet you where you are, without judgement. Our priority is helping you look after your oral health in a calm, supportive environment where you feel genuinely cared for.
A healthier smile starts with feeling safe, comfortable, and heard.
