Flexible ways to pay

Finance & Payment Options.

Because cost should never stand in the way of a healthy smile. On the spot HICAPS claiming, preferred provider status with nib, HCF and CBHS, Medicare CDBS for children, Zip interest free finance and SuperCare — all in one place.

Ways to pay

Care that meets you where you are.

At Central Dental Group, we want every patient to feel confident about the cost of their care before treatment begins. That is why we offer a range of payment options — from on the spot health fund claiming to interest free finance and superannuation access — designed to make quality dental treatment genuinely accessible, whatever your budget.

HICAPS on the spot

Private Health & HICAPS Claiming.

We process private health fund claims on the spot at both our Frankston and Elsternwick practices using HICAPS. This means you only pay your out of pocket gap at the time of your appointment — there is no need to pay the full amount upfront and wait for a rebate.

Not sure whether your fund is supported? Our reception team can check your cover before your appointment. Just give us a call and we will help you understand what is included in your plan.

Preferred provider status

Extra value for eligible members.

Central Dental Group holds preferred provider status with three major Australian health funds, giving eligible members improved rebates and no gap options across a wide range of treatments.

nib
nib First Choice

nib Preferred Provider

Frankston & Elsternwick

Depending on your level of cover, eligible nib members can access 50 to 65 per cent of the total treatment fee covered through their plan — across preventive, restorative and cosmetic care.

Speak to our front desk before your visit to see how your nib membership applies.

HCF
HCF More for Teeth

HCF Preferred Provider

Frankston only

Eligible HCF members can access no gap preventive treatments and improved rebates on a range of dental services through the HCF More for Teeth program.

Contact our Frankston team to confirm what is included under your HCF cover.

CBHS
CBHS Preferred Practice

CBHS Preferred Provider

Frankston only

Eligible CBHS members may receive no gap benefits on routine preventive care — check ups, cleans and X rays — plus higher rebates on a range of other treatments depending on membership level.

Ask our Frankston reception team to run a quick entitlement check ahead of your appointment.

Medicare CDBS

Bulk billed dental for eligible children.

Central Dental Group is proud to bulk bill eligible patients under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) at both our Frankston and Elsternwick clinics. This government program provides subsidised dental treatment for children between the ages of 0 and 17 who meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligible children can access up to $1,095 in dental benefits over two consecutive calendar years. Covered treatments include preventive care, X rays, fillings, fissure sealants and other basic dental services.

Is my child eligible?

Your child may be eligible for the CDBS if they receive a relevant Australian Government payment such as Family Tax Benefit Part A. Eligibility is assessed by Medicare and can change from year to year based on your circumstances.

If you are unsure whether your child qualifies, get in touch with our team and we will help you check before your appointment.

Zip finance

Interest free dental payment plans.

We understand that some treatments — particularly restorative or cosmetic procedures — represent a significant upfront investment. That is why Central Dental Group offers Zip as a flexible finance option, allowing you to spread the cost of treatment into regular, interest free instalments that suit your budget.

Please note: Zip payment plans are subject to a credit assessment. Eligibility criteria, fees and full terms and conditions are available directly from Zip. Zip's policies are subject to change at any time. Central Dental Group is not affiliated with or a representative of Zip.

$1,000 to $10,000

Access finance covering a wide range of treatment costs, from restorations to full smile makeovers.

Start straight away

Begin treatment immediately with nothing required upfront on the day.

Flexible schedule

Repay weekly, fortnightly or monthly — whatever works best for your household.

No interest

Pay no interest on your repayments, subject to Zip's standard terms and conditions.

SuperCare SuperCare

Access your super for essential dental care.

You may not have to wait until retirement to access your super. For patients facing significant out of pocket dental costs, Central Dental Group has partnered with SuperCare to provide another pathway to fund essential treatment. Through the ATO's Compassionate Release of Superannuation (CRS) program, eligible patients can access their superannuation early to cover dental and related costs.

What costs can super cover?

Under the CRS program, superannuation funds can be used to cover a range of treatment related expenses, including:

  • Clinical dental treatment fees
  • General anaesthetic fees where applicable
  • Ongoing appointments related to the treatment
  • Associated transport costs

How does it work?

The process is straightforward, and SuperCare's team manages most of it on your behalf.

  1. 1

    Contact us

Let our reception team know you are interested in SuperCare and we will pass your details through to their team.

  2. 2

    Application support

SuperCare's consultants guide you through the CRS program application from start to finish, taking the stress out of the process.

  3. 3

    Managed for you

SuperCare manages the application on your behalf, keeping things on track and working toward a timely outcome.

To find out whether SuperCare is right for your situation, speak to our reception team at either clinic.

humm finance

Finance for larger dental treatments.

Spread the cost of significant treatment over a longer term.

For patients facing more substantial dental costs — such as implant treatment, full-mouth rehabilitation, or extensive restorative work — Central Dental Group also offers humm as a longer-term finance option. Unlike a short-term payment plan, humm allows you to finance larger amounts over an extended period, giving you more flexibility to manage higher treatment costs without delaying the care you need.

Applications can be completed in-clinic with our team's assistance, or independently through the humm app.

Please note: humm is a credit product subject to interest, fees, and charges that vary depending on your loan amount, term, and the type of product offered. It is not an interest-free plan. Approval is subject to humm's credit assessment criteria and is not guaranteed. Full terms and conditions are available at hummloan.com. Policies are subject to change at any time. Central Dental Group is not affiliated with or a representative of humm. humm is provided by Once Credit Pty Limited ABN 99 112 319 632, Australian Credit Licence No. 386194.

Up to $50,000

Finance more extensive or complex dental treatment courses, from full-mouth rehabilitation to multi-implant care.

3 to 120 months

Choose a repayment term from 3 months up to 10 years, giving you more time to comfortably repay.

Flexible repayments

Pay fortnightly or monthly — choose a schedule that fits your cash flow.

Decision in minutes

Apply in clinic or via the humm app and get an outcome quickly, subject to humm's credit assessment criteria.
